As of yesterday, it’s been a week since I cut a cute little red ribbon my sweet husband set up for me. I opened the doors, flipped the sign from Closed to Open, and let the good times roll in.
It was the perfect amount of busy! I wasn’t rushed or overwhelmed like I was worried about feeling. Friends, family, and new faces came by to congratulate me and sip. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect opening day.
Since then, I’ve noticed weekday evenings aren’t popping in the area, so that will take some time to gather the crowd.
Which, by the way, if you’re reading this and are free this Thursday, come karaoke from 5-9pm!
This weekend was a pretty good flow, too. We had a private event that was previously booked and then aired the Texans game on Sunday. Sunday was a pretty vibing day, and probably the busiest. People stayed for hours and played games and hung out.
And I had a repeat customer! 2 people who came last Sunday came back yesterday with more friends. It was enough to make me cry, honestly. Nothing can explain the feeling of having a place that made someone want to come back again and give me their hard earned dollars.
Join us for a wine tasting.

So I’m very very grateful for this past week and all of the friends I’ve made. Making wine recommendations and getting the positive responses was also amazing. People even bought bottles to go after tasting something I recommended.
I’m looking forward to the events I have planned and more fun in the coming weeks! If you haven’t yet, follow our IG @notes_htx and Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/wineandmusicnotes to keep up with all the happenings.
