Happy Hump Day, my people! As Black History Month comes to a close, we open our arms to Women’s History Month in March. I have a lot of cool things planned for each weekend.

Add the NOTES Google Calendar to your phone

The best way to stay up to date with events is to 1. subscribe to the blog, obviously 🙂 and 2. Add NOTES’s Google Calendar to your phone. Add it by clicking the plus sign at the bottom right of the calendar.

As I make updates to the calendar, you’ll be able to see them. You can also just bookmark the NOTES website and check the Events page.

March Events for Women’s History Month

I’m still working out some details for one of the events, but here’s what’s planned. I’ve booked women musicians, partnered with woman-owned companies, and am highlighting women winemakers or woman-owned wine brands!

March 9th at 6pm: Cinnamontal Live at NOTES

Cinnamontal is a singer songwriter and bassoonist! She and James the Bassoon will put on a show you don’t want to miss! ✨🎟️ There will also be a raffle for a bottle of wine and jewelry! Raffle tickets are $5. You must be present to win.

March 16th at 1pm: Women’s History Month: Meditation and Mimosas

Let’s celebrate women’s history month and embody the power of being a woman. We’ll start the day with a 30 minute meditation session geared towards women empowerment. Then mimosas will start flowing!

March 23rd at 1pm: Women’s History Month Sip & Paint

March 24th at 1pm: Krista Gene Live at NOTES

Come listen to Krista Gene tear the house down with her gorgeous voice!

March 27th at 7pm: Women’s History Month Wine Tasting

Come hang out at NOTES for a special wine tasting highlighting women in wine!

🍷 4 delicious wines by women winemakers/women brands
🍷 Fun food pairings with each wine
🍷 Learn about the grapes, the story, the women (in a fun way)
🍷 Play games and hang out in the arcade

Tickets are $35 and must be purchased prior to the event to ensure there is enough wine and pairings for everyone.

Updates to the Loyalty Program

I know you all love rewards just as much as I do, so I offered a loyalty program. You earn points as you spend dollars at NOTES! Those points can then be cashed out for $5 off your next purchase. The amount of points to cash out the $5 off reward will increase from 75 points to 125 points on March 7th.

Remember, the $5 off is applied to the total transaction, once a day.

If you have points, I suggest you come in this week and use them before the increase. And if you really want to win, come in during Thursday and Friday to earn bonus points for happy hour!

I’ve learned a lot in these past almost 3 months of opening. I am making adjustments to how I run NOTES in many ways. I’m focusing on a lot of community events and elevating the experience at NOTES. The reality is there really isn’t anything like NOTES around this side of town, and I’m honored to be able to bring that to you all.

You’ll see some new wines appearing on the shelves.

You’ll see more community events and experiences.

You’ll see more opportunities to support NOTES.

You’ll see minor renovations slowly happening.

I’m excited for the things to come. And I’ll give you a little hint, it includes art shows in April! I’m telling y’all, watch out for NOTES!
