“NOTES is my way of combining my passion for music and love of wine…and my love of puns! I wanted to create a space for casual wine drinkers to enjoy a glass or bottle, catch up with friends or a pile of work, play some board games, and enjoy some occasional live acoustic performances. You don’t have to know anything about wine to enjoy it. The most important fact about a wine is whether you like it or not. I encourage new wine drinkers, and especially the Black community, to come enjoy an uncomplicated glass of wine (or 3) at NOTES!”

Notes LLC was founded in 2022 by musician and wine enthusiast Ashley Robles.

Ashley has had a passion for music since she first learned to play the clarinet at age 10. She continued to play clarinet through college and received a degree in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. After earning her degree, she moved back to her hometown, Houston, where she met her husband and gave birth to two amazing kids.

She became fascinated with the world of wine and started exploring different varietals with her husband and hosting wine tastings with Traveling Vineyard. She partnered with several wine brands through Instagram as her wine account continued to grow.

Missing the music aspect of her life, she had a vision of combining the fun of great music with a great bottle of wine.

Thus, NOTES was born.
